1. 1916: The founder of Lamborghini is born
On this day in 1916, the creator and founder of one of the original supercar companies, Ferrucio Lamborghini, was born in Renazzo Italy. Lamborghini is probably one of the most recognizable cars on the planet with maybe the only competition coming from his rivals Ferrari. Ferrucio originally started making tractors and was quite successful to the point that he was able to purchase a Ferrari. It was this purchase that we all have to be thankful for, because due to the Ferrari always breaking down on him, Lamborghini decided that he could build a much better car so that’s exactly what he did. Had that Ferrari purred like a kitten he probably would have kept on making tractors and we wouldn’t have works of art like the Aventador, Muria, and about 15 others that all are worthy of the title masterpiece.

3. 1996: Brutal killing spree takes place in Port Arthur Australia
You would think that all kinds of crazy things would happen in a place called Tasmania but that’s actually not the case, especially in the small town of Port Arthur. That was until Martin Bryant went on a killing spree that would end in as many as 35 people dead. Bryant had a very low IQ and would be what most people would call slow, if not mentally handicapped. It all started at the Seascape guesthouse when Bryant killed the elderly couple that ran the place. Apparently Bryant’s father had attempted to buy the guesthouse but was able to for whatever reason. Then his father committed suicide and Bryant was convinced that his father had killed himself due to depression from not being able to buy the place. That’s why many people believed Bryant started with the elderly couple, after leaving the guesthouse Bryant went into restaurant where he pulled a automatic rifle out of his bag and just started shooting. More than 22 people were killed in the restaurant and that includes women and children as well. Bryant continued shooting people as he left the diner killing two tour bus drivers, a mother and her two chidern then a BMW full of people, then proceeded to drive that BMW back to the Seascape guesthouse. He had a hostage with him which he killed and then burnt the place to the ground, He was sentenced to life in prison with no chance of release, Australia’s harshest sentence.
