These Unique And Interesting Women Will Blow Your Mind

There are women located all over the world that have something very unique and interesting about them. Something that will set them apart from all others. They could be tall, or small, or even become known as the “illustrated lady.” But they’re all special in their own way. We wanted to celebrate these unique and interesting womenby compiling a list and bring them all to one location for your enjoyment. I guarantee at least one will make your job drop for one reason or another.

Zlata

This Russian-born beauty goes by the name Zlata, and as you can see she has an extreme talent. Known as the world’s most flexible woman she also holds the record for most beer bottles opened in one minute, using only your feet. Zlata learned of her unique talents at the young age of four years old. Just two years later began learning how to perfect her craft as a contortionist at circus school.

Lauren Williams

If there ever was a time when a photograph can’t give you a sense of scale without something for comparison, it would be this. This beautiful blonde is Lauren Williams and obviously a model who’s quite tall. But it’s not her height that makes her so unique. Instead, it’s that she has the longest legs known within the United States at a staggering 49 inches from hip to heel. For those of us bad at math I went ahead and grabbed a calculator and that’s just over four feet!

Valeria Luykanova

Your eyes are not playing tricks on you, this is actually a real-life Barbie doll, only you wouldn’t want to call her that. That’s right, Valeria Luykanova is from the Ukraine and is adamant about the fact that she is completely natural from head to toe, with one noticeable exception. She apparently hates being referred to as “Barbie.” Which is interesting considering the uncanny resemblance with the enlarged eyes (thanks to clever makeup), tiny waist, long blonde hair, and many other doll-like features.

Bethany Hamilton

This blonde surfer girl is just as headstrong and talented as she is beautiful. Her name is Bethany Hamilton and you might recognize her from the Hollywood film, Soul Surfer, made about her life. After a shark attack in 2003 where she lost her left arm, she was able to work her way back to becoming a professional surfer. She even got back in the water just three weeks after the incident!

Christine Walton

You might be able to guess right away what makes Christine Walton unique. With more than 24 feet of fingernails when you combine then all together, she holds the record for the world’s longest fingernails. She lives in Las Vegas and the length of her nails were recorded in 2014 so it’s possible they’re even longer now. How she managed to do pretty much anything with her hands is nothing short of a miracle.

Anastasiya Shpagina

When I first saw a photo of Anastasiya Shpagina, I admit my eyes did a double take. At first, it appeared to be clever work with photo editing. But actually, it’s just skillful makeup techniques that give Anastasiya her unique “Anime” look. She even prefers to be called by her Anime name, Fukkacumi. She once told a reporter that asked her why she looked like a doll, she responded with “a doll is like me.”

Aimee Mullins

Aimee Mullins is just as beautiful as she is inspiring. This lovely lady was born with a medical condition that resulted in the amputation of her lower limbs. Most people would’ve given up at that point, but not Aimee. She went on to attend Georgetown University and compete on the track and field team. In doing so she became the first amputee in history to compete in the NCAA. Aimee has also become a successful model and actress.

Becca Meyers

This lovely lady is multi-time Olympic gold and silver medalist, Becca Meyers. With a total of 4 gold medals and 2 silver medals in swimming, it comes as quite the shock to hear that she suffers from a rare condition called Usher syndrome. This syndrome can be extremely problematic because it causes vision loss and balance issues and when you add in the fact that she was also born deaf it would seem as if the odds were stacked against her. But that of course didn’t stop Becca from becoming a champion.

Natalia Partyka

This is Natalia Partyka, who is a multi-time Olympic gold and silver medalist. Like Ms. Hamilton above, Natalia wasn’t about to let the fact that she only has one arm slow her down. Instead, she used it to her advantage and use it to become one of the most popular players in the world. Now that’s what I called unique and interesting.

Asha Zulu Mandela

Measuring in at a whopping 19 feet 6 inches, Asha Zulu Mandela has the world’s longest dreadlocks. Mandela is commonly referred to as “The Black Rapunzel” which is quite fitting when you think about it. Apparently, she’s started to develop back problems because her hair weighs over 25lbs when it gets wet.

Lyudmila Titchenkova

Holding the title for the world’s longest neck is the 16-year-old Lyudmila Titchenkova from Ukraine. It’s apparently due to Marfan’s Syndrome which affects the connective tissues and that combined with something with Lyudmila’s spine has caused her elongated neck. The issues would’ve been problematic, but luckily she’s had extensive surgeries that seem to have corrected the problem.

Kim Goodman

This seems completely impossible, but somehow Kim Goodman can make her eyeballs pop out of her head! Apparently, she can make this happen on command and first learned of this unique talent after being hit in the head with a hockey mask. Her eyes protrude almost a half an inch more than they’re supposed to (which is not at all!), but they did land her on Letterman. Not to mention the Guinness Book of World Record Top Ten feats of all time.

Duangjay Samaksamam

Duangjay Samaksamam is a hard-working woman who owns a small shop in Thailand. Unfortunately, she’s been suffering from a rare condition for more than twenty years. It’s caused her hands and arms to grow to an alarming size, each weighing an estimated 20lbs. However, she hasn’t let that slow her down and has even embraced it in a way by receiving an award for the world’s largest hands.

Julia Gnuse

Julia Gnuse developed a rare condition called porphyria when she was in her mid 30’s that resulted in giant blisters forming on her skin. To cover up the scars she came up with the brilliant idea of tattooing over 90% of her body. Now referred to as the “illustrated lady,” Gnuse is considered to be the most tattooed women in the world.

Mikel Ruffinelli

Just after having her third child, Mikel Ruffinelli started noticing that her hips seemed to grow continually. Finally, the got so big that she actually became the record-holder for the world’s largest hips. They measure a total of more than 8 feet in circumference and have caused her weight to skyrocket up over 420lbs. Doctors believe it’s caused by a condition called Lipedema.

Abigail and Brittany Hensel

Once again this may look like a skilled Photoshop or an optical illusion. But actually, it’s the conjoined twins, Abigail and Brittany Hensel. They have managed to live the life of every other girl their age. According to reports, the girls are not only connected in the physical sense, but also in a mental capacity. They can “feel” each other when doing things like typing emails and such that require the use of both hands.

Jyoti Amge

Jyoti Amge is a famous Indian actress that’s currently considered the smallest woman in the world. She has what’s called achondroplasia, which is a form of dwarfism and stands just under two feet tall (23 inches). One of her biggest pet peeves is to have someone pick her up like they would a toddler. But as you can imagine this is something that happens quite often.

Pixee Fox

If you thought Valeria had a tiny waist, it’s nothing compared to the minuscule 14-inch waist of Pixee Fox. Born is Sweden, Pixee had been obsessed with having a small waist to the point she had ribs removed. Apparently, it’s to a stage where doctors say it’s dangerous due to the vulnerability of her internal organs. Pixee not only has the tiniest waist but has also spent a small fortune on various plastic surgeries.

Chanel Tapper

This self-proclaimed goofball is Chanel Tapper and she became famous when she posted a video on YouTube showing her massive tongue. It turns out that it’s the world’s largest tongue at an almost unbelievable 3.8 inches. If there was such a thing as the touch your tongue to your nose championships, she would clearly be the winner.

Aneta Florczyk

After starting weight training at just 16 years old, Aneta Florczyk has worked her way to becoming the world’s strongest woman. Aneta has won numerous awards for her strength over the years and can apparently deadlift more than 550lbs for a single rep. But being a three-time winner of the strongwoman competition is what she feels to be her greatest accomplishments.

Aevin Dugas

Aevin Dugas is trying to start a movement where women let their hair grow naturally and not use chemical straighteners and things of that nature. She feels so strongly about it that she’s actually the record holder for the world’s largest afro. It apparently measures a whopping 4 feet, 4 inches in circumference and over 7.5 inches tall in every angle.

Natasha Veruschka

This is the extreme performer Natasha Veruschka, and she has the unique ability to swallow swords. In fact, she’s so good that she currently holds the world record for the most swords swallowed simultaneously by a female throughout history. Natasha managed to swallow 13 swords when setting the record. If this is your idea of a good time, she lives in NYC where she has shows where she displays her interesting talents.

Supatra Sasuphan

The term “woman” is used loosely in this situation, but only because the young Supatra Sashuphan is only 11 years old. Born in Thailand, Supatra has suffered from a rare condition called Ambras Syndrome for most of her life. This poor little girl has been constantly ridiculed for growing massive amounts of hair all over her body. Even modern treatments like laser removal have proven ineffective.

Elaine Davidson

Talk about a face that only a mother could love, this is Elaine Davidson who is currently the most pierced person in the world. Originally from Brazil but now living in Scotland, Elaine has been obsessed with tattoos and body modifications since she was young. But her true passion is piercings and now has a total of 9,800 all over her entire body.

Emma Morano

Not only is Emma Morano currently the oldest living person on Earth, but she’s also the oldest Italian, ever. Also considered to be one of the five oldest people in world history, and also the only person still alive that was born in the 1800’s. As of this writing, Emma is 117 years old and will be 118 November 29th. She claims her longevity is due to her maintaining the same diet of 3 eggs, a bit of raw meat, and Italian pasta, for the last 90 years!
