On this day in 1916, the creator and founder of one of the original supercar companies, Ferrucio Lamborghini, was born in Renazzo Italy. Lamborghini is probably one of the most recognizable cars on the planet with maybe the only competition coming from his rivals Ferrari. Ferrucio originally started making tractors and was quite successful to the point that he was able to purchase a Ferrari. It was this purchase that we all have to be thankful for, because due to the Ferrari always breaking down on him, Lamborghini decided that he could build a much better car so that’s exactly what he did. Had that Ferrari purred like a kitten he probably would have kept on making tractors and we wouldn’t have works of art like the Aventador, Muria, and about 15 others that all are worthy of the title masterpiece.
